WEEK 13: Players of the Week

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week 13 Players of the Week winners.

OFFENSE - Ricardo Diegues made his presence known for the Blast with a huge five goals against his former team. Diegues is only two games into his Baltimore career but has already contributed seven points and 12 shots.

DEFENSE - Guerrero Pino of the San Diego Sockers picks up the honor with his streak of threes. Pino earned three points (0G-3A), three blocks, and three wins through three games. The defenseman is now tied for fifth in blocked opponent shots.

GOALKEEPER – Baltimore Blast’s Mike Zierhoffer made MASL history this week when he recorded the first ever goalkeeper hat trick. He also made 13 saves and allowed six goals in the win against the visiting Utica team.
