WEEK 12 PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the winners of the Week 12 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week awards. Chihuahua Savage swept the week with Jorge Rios and Berna Valdovinos picking up the wins. 

Rios collected five goals and one assist in the Savage’s two wins against Harrisburg. The veteran player has a point per game average of 2.7, the best in his six seasons of MASL play.

Berna Valdovinos recorded 22 saves in the team’s two wins this past weekend. He allowed seven goals throughout the two games. The goalkeeper is credited with just one regulation loss through eight games in net.

The Chihuahua Savage return to play on Saturday as they welcome the Tacoma Stars. Game time is 9pm EST at the Corner Sport Arena.
