WAVE WIN THIRD BATTLE AGAINST MUSTANGS

The Milwaukee Wave took their third win against the arch-rival Chicago Mustangs Saturday night at Sears Centre. Final Score, Milwaukee Wave 10, Chicago Mustangs 8.

“Tonight’s win was very big,” said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “It gives us the tie breaker if we do end up having similar records at the end of the season and puts us back into the playoff race. We can't lose sight, the defending champion Baltimore Blast visit us at home next Saturday. We’ll be ready.”

Forward, number 24 Max Ferdinand scored four goals with one being off of a penalty kick. Other Wave scorers included forward, number 7 Hans Denissen, forward, number 8 Robert Renauld, defender, number 4 Sean Totsch, defender, number 2 Tenzin Rampa, and midfielder, number 14 Daniel Mattos.

“We knew tonight’s game was going to be tough,” said Midfielder Ian Bennett, who had one goal and three assists on the night. “We needed this win to set us up for next weekend against the defending champs. We should be ready to go.”
