WAVE BATTLES FOR FIRST PLACE AT HOME SATURDAY AGAINST FLORIDA

After suffering back-to-back road losses, the 7-time Milwaukee Wave is ready to get back on the winning track and play in front of their fans Saturday night against the Florida Tropics at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.“It’s frustrating losing two in a row on the road like that,” said Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero. “But we have to put that behind us, look forward and continue to work hard because this is a must win situation against Florida on Saturday.”The Milwaukee Wave currently lead the MASL East Division with a 10-5-1 record and 30 points, while the Florida Tropics are right on their heels in 2nd with a 9-6-2 record and 29 points.“We are putting everything we’ve got into Saturday’s game,” added Oliviero. “We will make changes heading into Sunday and we’ve got a lot of guys that deserve to be on the field that have done a very good job in practice. But at the same time we also want fresh legs for Sunday against St. Louis; while we are driving through the night, they’ll be sleeping in their beds, it’s a one game weekend for them and that puts us at a disadvantage but we still want to be they best we can be.” Milwaukee Wave vs Florida TropicsSaturday, March 4, 6:05pm at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.Tickets are on sale at MilwaukeeWave.com or at the Box Office prior to the game.
