The game started with a quick goal by Coyote’s midfielder Omar Ledesma off an assist by Coyote’s defender Leobardo Siqueiros. The Soles then gained some momentum scoring three straight goals eventually taking a 3-1 first quarter lead. The Coyotes then scored the first goal of the second quarter to cut the lead down to 3-2. The Soles followed up by scoring another three straight goals before Coyotes’ rookie forward Andoni Eugui scored his first and only goal of the game, off an assist from Coyote’s rookie forward David Salas, at the 11:06 mark. The Soles then closed out the first half with two more goals to make it an 8 – 3 half-time lead.

The Coyotes continued their “score first” play with the first goal of the second half by Eric Hernandez, off an assist by Arturo Vega, to make it 8 – 4. From their it was a scoring frenzy from both teams, each taking and making shots back and forth, eventually ending the third quarter with the Soles leading 14 – 8. The Soles then closed out the Coyotes with a 4 -2 fourth quarter, finishing the game 18 – 10.

Special note: The Coyotes have scored the first goal in each of their first three games.
