The Dallas Sidekicks Win Second Straight Game

Allen, Texas (Dec. 10, 2016) – The Dallas Sidekicks move to 4-4 in Major Arena Soccer League play with a thrilling 8-2 win Saturday night against the St. Louis Ambush at the Allen Event Center.

The Sidekicks controlled the first half by getting out to a 2-1 lead at halftime with goals scored by Gabe Arredondo and Cameron Brown. St. Louis Ambush defender Mitchell Garcia scored the evenings opening goal with a minute remaining in the first quarter.

The second half was a tale of two quarters. The Sidekicks extended their lead in the third quarter to 4-2 with goals by Cameron Brown and VcMor Eligwe. The Ambush answered with a goal of their own by Corey Adamson.

The Sidekicks offense continued to stay hot in the fourth quarter with goals scored by Cameron Brown, Jamie Lovegrove, VcMor Eligwe & Ricardinho. The Sidekicks held the Ambush scoreless in the fourth quarter.

The Sidekicks’ next home game at Allen Event Center is December 17th against the defending MASL champions Baltimore Blast. The 17th is also the Sidekicks holiday theme night. This match doubles as the team’s holiday celebration with fans, who will have the opportunity to take free pictures with Santa.
