Stars Acquire Forward Ty Hall From Harrisburg Heat

TACOMA, Wash. -- The Tacoma Stars acquired forward Ty Hall as part of a trade with the Harrisburg Heat, the club announced today. Full details of the trade will be announced at a later time.

Hall, 27, returns to Tacoma after logging time in 16 matches with the Stars during the 2015-16 Major Arena Soccer League season. The Baltimore, Maryland native tallied nine total points on five goals and four assists while adding three blocks last year.

“We are looking forward to having Ty Hall back in a Tacoma Stars uniform,” Stars Head Coach and General Manager Darren Sawatzky said. “Ty was an important member of our team during the 2015-16 season, and we are lucky to have him return to work with the guys that have started this year strong.”

Hall opened the season playing one match for Harrisburg, where he contributed one goal. He split his time collegiately between Limestone College and Radford University, where he played winger and forward. In addition to years of professional indoor experience, Hall has competed internationally for Sporting Kristina in Finland during 2014.

He will wear No. 21 for the Stars. Hall and the Stars head back out on the road for a match with the San Diego Sockers on Friday, Dec. 2, the third match of a four-game road trip for Tacoma. First kick is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. PT.
