ST. LOUIS AMBUSH VISIT TEXAS FOR PRESIDENTS DAY MATCH

St. Charles, Missouri (February 18, 2022) – The St. Louis Ambush travel to Texas to duel the Dallas Sidekicks in a rare weekday game on Presidents Day, Monday February 21. The Credit Union of Texas Event Center is the site of the match and the first kick is slated for 12:30 p.m. CST. All the action will be webcast on the MASLtv channel on YouTube.

Ambush interim head coach Jeff Locker and his players will be looking to right their season after losing their last five games. They will land in Texas with a 5-8-2 record to square off with a Sidekicks team that is presently one spot ahead of them in the Central Division standings and two spots ahead of them in the playoff rankings with a 7-7-0 record. With 15 games of their 24 game season behind them, each contest becomes even more crucial if the Ambush are to hold onto a postseason berth.

Dallas comes into Monday’s game riding the momentum of having won their last two games, including defeating the powerhouse Florida Tropics in their last match on February 12. Neither the Ambush or the Sidekicks play this weekend and should be fresh and ready for Monday’s battle.

Monday’s game is the fourth of five scheduled meetings between the St. Louis and Dallas during the 2021-22 regular season. The Sidekicks hold a 2-1 advantage in the three games played thus far. The final regular season clash between the two teams is set for Sunday, February 27 at 3:05 p.m. CST at The Family Arena in St. Charles.

Tickets for all remaining Ambush home games are available at the Family Arena box office and at ticketmaster.com. Fans can stay current on all Ambush news by visiting the team’s official website, stlambush.com and on social media outlets.
