ST. LOUIS AMBUSH VISIT MILWAUKEE WAVE FRIDAY
Saint Charles, MO.– The St. Louis Ambush take a trip to Brew City to face the Milwaukee Wave Friday, February 17 at 7:35 p.m. CST at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
The Ambush (5-8-1) take the field Friday in sixth place in the MASL’s Eastern Division, three points ahead of last-place Harrisburg and tied with fifth-place Utica in points, but behind them in regulation wins by one. Milwaukee enters the weekend in first place in the Eastern Division, four points ahead of he second-place Florida Tropics.
Friday’s match is the fourth of six games between the Ambush and Wave slated for the 2022-23 regular season. Milwaukee has won the three previous games, including a 7-0 shutout the last time the two teams met last Friday at The Family Arena in St. Charles. The Ambush bounced back the next night, defeating the Florida Tropics 7-5, while Milwaukee went on to drop an 11-3 contest to the Baltimore Blast last Saturday.
In other team news, the Ambush announced that they have released veteran forward Tony Walls last week. Team co-owner, GM and Head Coach Jeff Locker said, “We thank Tony for his contributions to the organization and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
Following Friday’s game, the Ambush return home for a Presidents’ Day matinee affair against the Dallas Sidekicks on Monday, February 20 at 1:05 p.m. CST at The Family Arena. All Ambush games are available for webcast at twitch.com.
