St. Charles, MO– The St. Louis Ambush play twice at Axius Field at The Family Arena this weekend. On Friday March 4, the Milwaukee Wave come to town for a 7:35 p.m. CST duel, followed by a visit from the Florida Tropics on Sunday, March 6 at 4:05 p.m. CST.

The Ambush enter the weekend riding the momentum of a thrilling overtime shootout win over the Dallas Sidekicks last Sunday at The Family Arena while Milwaukee is looking to bounce back from a loss to San Diego their last time out. Florida enters the weekend having won their last two games. The Tropics visit Milwaukee on Saturday before invading the Family Arena on Sunday.

Friday’s battle against Milwaukee takes on added importance as the Wave and Ambush enter the weekend with eyes on the last playoff spot. Milwaukee presently holds that spot and the Ambush would like nothing better than to evict the Wave from that spot and take it for themselves with just five regular season games remaining after this weekend’s action. The Ambush start the weekend with a 6-9-2 record, while Milwaukee comes to town at 6-8-1. St. Louis and Milwaukee have met twice thus far this season with each team winning one game. The two teams will square off two more times after this weekend.

Florida has a firm grip on first place in the MASL East Division with a 12-1-1 record. The Ambush and Tropics have clashed once this season, with the Tropics coming out on top. Sunday’s game is the last regular-season meeting between the two teams.

Following this weekend’s action, the Ambush get next weekend off before hosting the Milwaukee Wave on Friday, March 18 at 7:35 p.m. CDT. The two teams then travel to Milwaukee to butt heads again at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Sunday, March 20 at 1:05 p.m. CDT. Given their current positions in the standings, both games could be intense, “make-or-break” affairs for each team’s playoff hopes.

Tickets for all remaining Ambush home games are available at The Family Arena box office and at Fans can stay current on all Ambush news by visiting the team’s official website, and on social media outlets.
