ORLANDO, FL (August 28, 2019) – With training camp set to open in a little over two months, the Orlando SeaWolves moved one step closer to finalizing the team’s 2019-20 roster. On Wednesday Orlando announced the re-signing of midfielder Kevin Naranjo. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The Colombian midfielder who was discovered by the SeaWolves at the team’s 2018 West Palm Beach tryout will enter his second season in the Major Arena Soccer League season. Naranjo coming off the bench appeared in 15 games for Orlando last season.

“Kevin is a young player with a solid amount of speed,” said General Manager Chris Kokalis. “Last year was his rookie season and I believe he learned a lot from the veteran players and will only continue to get better. One of the things I particularly like about Kevin is his ability to go 1v1 which he proved as one of his strong suits last season ”.

Naranjo along with 28 other players will take part in the team’s 2019-20 training camp and compete for 1 of 20 roster spots. Training camp is set to begin November 1st at the clubs official training facility XL Soccer World in Orlando.

Orlando will begin their second Major Arena Soccer League campaign November 22nd at 7:35pm. All SeaWolves 2019-20 home matches will take place at Silver Spurs Arena located at Osceola Heritage Park. An opponent for that match and complete schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
