Chihuahua, Chih.- On Thursday, December 7, Chihuahua will host the Texas Outlaws for the second time at the Corner Sport Arena at 8:00 PM (local time) as part of the second match day of the Major Arena Soccer League's Western Conference in the 2023-2024 season.

Both teams come into this game with a victory in their record. The Mexican team secured an 8-1 home win against the Empire Strykers from Ontario, California, while the Texas Outlaws triumphed on the road against the reigning runner-up, the Baltimore Blast, with a score of 9-5.

The "Outlaws" from the state of Texas are led by one of the legends of American indoor soccer, the Brazilian Antonio "Tatu" Pecorari, who scored over 800 goals in his career, ranking as the second-highest scorer in history. Key players for the Texas Outlaws include Sebastián Méndez and the standout rookie from the 2022-2023 season, Luiz "Cebollas" Morales, both scoring three goals each in the season opener.

For this match, Everardo Sánchez will have Chihuahua midfielder Álvaro Luevano and Brazilian forwards Lucas Da Silva "Pulguinha" and Luan Da Conceicao "Mestre," who are making their debut in the MASL after successfully completing their domestic leagues in Brazil.

It's worth noting that on Friday, December 1, Savage played a friendly match in El Paso, Texas, against the new MASL 2 franchise, El Paso Rhinos FC, and secured a 10-5 victory.

In previous encounters, only one match has been registered at the "Monstruo Verde" in Chihuahua between these two teams, with the balance tipping in favor of the Savage, who won the game 10-9 in Overtime, with a golden goal from Edgar "Torrez" González on March 30, 2023.
