Ryan Hall Returns as Head Coach of the Syracuse Silver Knights

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- After taking over the helm in January for the team’s playoff push, the Syracuse Silver Knights welcome back Head Coach Ryan Hall for the 2017-2018 season.

“I’m excited for the next season,” Hall said. “I promise there are going to be a lot of changes on and off the field that will bring excitement to the game and will make a stand in the community.”

Club President and General Manager Tommy Tanner lauded Hall for his enthusiasm, work ethic and knowledge of the game and our community.

"The Silver Knights are delighted to bring Ryan Hall back to coach this season because he is dedicated and committed to achieving our goal of bringing Syracuse an indoor soccer championship.

Coach Hall also understands the importance of the team in our community. I look forward to supporting his efforts in not only in bringing a champion to Syracuse but promoting youth soccer and participating in our outreach programs. I believe he will do a tremendous job and cannot wait to see the Silver Knights compete in the War Memorial this fall."

Hall’s soccer experience in Central New York began while playing for Syracuse University. From there, he played professionally for the Syracuse Salty Dogs, Rochester Raging Rhinos, Cleveland Force, Chicago Storm, California Cougars, New Jersey Ironmen, and, lastly, the Syracuse Silver Knights.

He earned a reputation as a leader on the field for the Silver Knights, and he landed the job of assistant coach last fall. Hall promises to bring a fan-friendly and competitive squad to Dave and Buster’s Field.

“We’re looking to combine veterans of indoor and young talent to establish a culture and product that our fans could be proud of.” Hall said.

The team will be releasing its 2017/18 schedule in early September.
