Rampage Bring Back Pablo Da Silva for 2017/18

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (June 1, 2017) – The Cedar Rapids Rampage have announced the signing of defender Pablo Da Silva for the 2017/18 season.

Da Silva was second in the MASL in scoring among defenders with 28 points last year. He led the Rampage with 19 assists and was third on the team in points, while playing in all 20 games.

The Brazilian, who will turn 37 in August, was a fixture on the Rampage special teams and his deliberate style helped set the tempo.

Pablo played seven seasons with the Milwaukee Wave and part of a season with the Chicago Soul before coming to Cedar Rapids as a free agent last year.

“I am very excited to have Pablo back,” said Rampage Head Coach Hewerton Moreira. “His leadership, discipline, and passion are contagious and will be crucial for us in order to have a fantastic season.”
