Players of the Week: Week 8

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week 8 Players of the Week winners. 

Luis Genaro Castillo of the Monterrey Flash recorded four goals and two assists, including one game-winning goal through two Flash wins in Week 8. The forward is now fourth in the league for points and assists.  

Milwaukee Wave’s Marcio Leite earned the defensive honors with a stat line that reads - three goals, one assist, seven blocks, one game-winning goal. The defender is averaging 2.6 points per game, the highest in his 10 year MASL career. 

Andrew Coughlin of Utica City FC helped lift his team through two road games with a combined 38 saves, and 9 goals allowed. Coughlin has played eight of 10 games for Utica this season winning all eight.
