Players of the Week: Week 4

The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the Week 4 Players of the Week winners.

Luiz Morales, Texas Outlaws, picked up seven points(five goals, two assists) on the weekend, splitting a home and home series with the Kansas City Comets. The 2021-22 Rookie of the Year is now co-leading the league in goals with the Comets’ Zach Reget.

Monterrey scooped up wins in both the goalkeeping and the defensive categories. Uriel Zuart, claimed the defensive honors with 10 blocks over two winning games in Week 4. Goalkeeper Christian Hernandez had 25 saves and only two goals allowed in his performance against the defending champion Chihuahua Savage. Hernandez now leads the league in goals against average and save percentage. The Flash remain undefeated in the 2023-24 contest.
