OUTLAWS LOOK TO CONTINUE WINNING WAYS FRIDAY AT EMPIRE

MESQUITE, Texas (December 12, 2022) – On Friday, December 16th, the Mesquite Outlaws (2-0-0) are playing in Ontario, California, at Toyota Arena against the Empire Strykers (0-2-1) at 9:05 pm CST.

The Mesquite Outlaws played Kansas City Comets on December 10th, where they won their second game of the season 5-3. Sebastian Mendez came out on top with 2 goals that night and became the leading scorer on the team.  Eduardo “Pollo” Cortes continues to contribute to the winning streak with 24 saves that game, making his save percentage 90% so far this season.

The Empire Strykers have been getting accustomed to their new pieces that they’ve added to the team, each game getting a little stronger. Players to look out for are Franck Tayou, Justin Stinson, and newcomer Gabriel Costa. Costa so far has made his mark on the team, leading the stats with 2 goals and 4 assists.

After playing the Strykers in Ontario, Mesquite Outlaws will travel to San Diego on Sunday, December 18th, as they take on the back-to-back MASL Champions the San Diego Sockers. Kickoff for the game is at 7:05 pm CST. Games can be viewed live on the MASL Twitch channel, and game updates will be given on all Mesquite Outlaws social media accounts (@mesquiteoutlaws).
