ONTARIO FURY WELCOMES THREE NEW PLAYERS

Fury add three more players to roster

ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA – The Ontario Fury is pleased to announce it has signed three players for the upcoming Major Arena Soccer League 2019-20 campaign, including Nestor Hernandez, Joseph Cairel, and Daniel Lopez, all Free Agents. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Before joining the Fury, Hernandez played for four MASL teams, which included three years with the Sidekicks, a year with St. Louis Ambush, and as well as previously playing for the Chicago Mustangs and Las Vegas Legends throughout his indoor career thus far. During Hernandez’s attendance at Lewis University, he was a three-time All-American. Hernandez
ended his college soccer career with a total of 37 goals, 18 assists, and 92 points, making that sixth most in school history.

Joseph Cairel is a Monterey Peninsula College alum. Nicknamed “The Jet,” Cairel, played sixteen games for the Stars ending with career numbers with six goals and six assists during the MASL 2015-2016 campaign. Cairel has also previously played for the Burlingame Dragons in the Premier Development League. 

Daniel Lopez, born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, has previously played with Soles de Sonora and most recently with the Monterrey Flash before signing with the Fury.
