Head Coach Giuliano Oliviero on…

On the Harrisburg vs. Baltimore series:

“Full credit to the Harrisburg Heat for the turnaround they had this season; from the front office and management, all the way to the product on the field, it was fun to watch them grow and have some success this year. As for Baltimore, they are what they are, the defending champs who know how to get it done in clutch moments. We’re not surprised that we are playing them at all.”

Approach going into Baltimore:

“We treated Kansas City like a championship finals series and Baltimore will be no different. If you’re going to get this done you’d have to expect to go through a team like the Blast; we wouldn’t have it any other way and look forward to the battle.”

On the regular season series / Baltimore’s home opener:

“That was early in the season, they’ve changed a lot and we’ve obviously grown quite a bit as a team but I feel that because of the slow start that we had, we’ve been in playoff mode for the past two months.”

Preparation during the week:

“The Comets series was very intense so we decided to give the guys an extra day off to recover. Training was a little lighter than usual this week but we’re at a point in our season where we trust in our players and their abilities and just did a little fine tuning. Otherwise, our legs are fresh, the guys are kinda chomping at the bit and we are ready to go!”
