The San Diego Sockers sit in first place right now with 60 points through 22 games played. They had a perfect record while on the road earning their twelfth win while visiting the Harrisburg Heat on Sunday afternoon. Their one and only loss this season came at home in overtime against the Ontario Fury. The reigning Ron Newman Cup Champions will enter the playoffs as the Western Division leaders.

The Florida Tropics will also enter the playoffs as the winner of their division. Florida has 53 points through 21 games. They will need to win out their final three games to clinch the shield and San Diego needs to lose their final two.  Florida has scored the second-most number of goals this season behind the Chihuahua Savage.
