KANSAS CITY (April 25, 2018) – For the second straight year, the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) has announced a two-week Free Agency period for teams to negotiate and sign players with expired or expiring contracts.

All players with contracts that have expired or contracts that will expire prior to November 1, 2018 will be eligible during this period. Teams will be able to begin negotiations with eligible players beginning at 9:00 a.m. ET on May 1, 2018. All contracts must then be received by the MASL by 6:00 p.m. ET on May 15, 2018.

Any player who remains unsigned after May 15 will then be protected until the natural conclusion of their contract. If a player is already under contract or signs a contract extension (pending league approval) through the 2018-2019 season prior to May 1, they will not be eligible during the Live Period.

Any new transactions can be found in the public transactions page at  All MASL team public rosters will be live via New expansion teams, division, conference, and transaction updates will be made as those announcements roll out in the coming weeks and months.
