MASL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – WEEK FOURTEEN

KANSAS CITY (Feb 2, 2017) – The Major Arena Soccer League announced today that Ontario Fury’s Nick Perera has been named the Player of the Week for his performance in Week Fourteen. This is Perera’s first Player of the Week award, following his first appearance on the Team of the Week this season.

Perera earned his award by doing everything he could to help his team to victory against the Dallas Sidekicks last week. He had five assists in regulation and then scored the dramatic game-winning goal in the seventh minute of overtime.

Ontario will face division rival Turlock Express at home this Saturday evening at 6:05 p.m. PT. Perera and the Fury look for another victory as they try to keep pace with the rest of the division and climb into playoff position.
