MASL ANNOUNCES REFEREE ASSIGNMENTS

MAJOR ARENA SOCCER LEAGUE ANNOUNCES REFEREE ASSIGNMENTS FOR 

RON NEWMAN CUP CHAMPIONSHIP

In preparation for the Ron Newman Cup Championship Series between the Chihuahua Savage and Baltimore Blast, Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the referees for the series.

Game One on April 27^th will be officiated by Ryan Cigich and Fernando Pena.  Cigich, the MASL head of officials will be working his 9^th Championship in his 24^th season.  This will be Pena’s 5^th Championship appearance in his 14^th season of professional arena soccer.  They will be assisted by Mauricio Olace.

Game Two on April 28^th will be officiated by Shane Butler and Kia Dehpanah.  This will be Butler’s 8^th Championship appearance; the former FIFA Futsal Referee is in his 20^th season of professional arena soccer.  This will be Kia’s 4^th Championship appearance in his 21^st season of professional arena soccer.  They will be assisted by the MASLs Newcomer Referee of the Year, Lorenzo Hernandez.
