MASL ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR
Soles de Sonora’s Luis Paz Earns Inaugural Award

KANSAS CITY (May 15, 2017) – The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced today the final Earl Foreman Award for the 2016-2017 season. After recognizing the best efforts from across the league, Commissioner Josh Schaub awarded the Team Executive of the Year award to Luis Paz of Soles de Sonora.
“I believe Luis’ award as Executive of the Year is solely justified in the brand that he has built for Sonora in just two years,” said Schaub. “He not only has had some of the best records in MASL history, he has built consistent success off the field and in the community in just two short years.”
Soles de Sonora reached the MASL Championship Series for the second straight season. Their General Manager, Luis Paz, put together a team of mostly local players who adapted to arena soccer and quickly placed their team among the league’s elite. Paz and his team have hosted the final game each of the past two years, providing two of the most memorable games in MASL history.
