KANSAS CITY (April 12, 2018) – The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) continued with its post-season honors by announcing the winners of the Earl Foreman Awards for the Best Sales Team (Milwaukee Wave) and Best Branding Theme (Monterrey Flash). This is the second Earl Foreman Award for each team this season as both teams were awarded the Best Broadcast yesterday.

The Milwaukee Wave led the league in attendance in the 2017-2018 season thanks to the efforts of the Wave’s Sales and Marketing team. Developing a different theme for each of their home games, including a St. Patrick’s theme for their playoff home game, Milwaukee filled their building with fans to cheer them on to their first Central Division title.

The Monterrey Flash returned to the MASL this season and rode the excitement of their ‘Vuelve la Experienca Flash’ campaign all the way to the MASL Championship game. Utilizing their players and fan favorite mascot, Chily Wily, the Flash invited fans to rediscover arena soccer all season long.

Earl Foreman helped to create the original MISL in 1977 and served as Commissioner from 1978-1985 and in 1989. He was a pioneer of the arena soccer business. Through his promotional genius, arena soccer was one of the most watched sports in America during his tenure as Commissioner

The Earl Foreman Awards are designed to recognize the best performances that happen off-the-field from across the league. The MASL will continue to announce Earl Foreman Award winners all week.
