KANSAS CITY (April 27, 2018) – The Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) announced the final Earl Foreman Award winners from the 2017-2018 season. The Baltimore Blast have been named the Organization of the Year while Kevin Healey has earned the Executive of the Year title.

The Baltimore Blast completed their Three-peat last month, defeating the Monterrey Flash for the 2018 Ron Newman Cup Championship. To add to their success on the field, the team also managed a positive venue switch to SECU Arena in Towson, MD and were among the league leaders in revenue.

A big part of the Blast’s success has come from Kevin Healey, the team’s President and General Manager. Healey oversaw the change from downtown Baltimore to the team’s new home on the campus of Towson University. Fans were brought closer to the action and treated to an exciting game atmosphere for every match.

On the field, Healey managed his roster to navigate through a long season. When star goalkeeper William Vanzela went down to injury in the first half of a match, Healey immediately hit the phones and had Joey Kapinos in town the next day to fill the role.

The MASL offseason now turns the page towards the 2018-2019 season The annual Free Agency period runs May 1-15, 2018 and the annual Spring Owners Meetings will be held in St. Charles, MO May 16 and 17. The 2018-2019 season will officially kick off the weekend of December1, 2018
