HARRISBURG, Penn (Oct. 2, 2018) – The Harrisburg Heat announced their latest signing today, Veselin “Vesko” Konov, from Italy. Vesko was a professional Futsal player with experience in the Bulgarian National Team, Serie A and Serie B in Italy and most recently in the English Super League. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Vesko flew in from England and quickly impressed Coach Pat Healey. Excited to show his talents here, Vesko states:  "It’s going to be my first season in the USA and I can’t wait to start. I’m glad to be part of the Harrisburg Heat and very motivated for what’s to come."

The current Heat players also noticed his skill level with Danny DiPrima adding how he is looking forward to playing with Vesko.  Healey wasted no time in signing him: "Vesko came to the Combine we held in September and showed very well. He is a playmaking midfielder with good vision. I think his background in Futsal and overall soccer knowledge will translate well into the indoor game."
