HEAT SIGN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO NATIONAL TEAM FORWARD RICARDO JOHN

The Harrisburg Heat are pleased to announce that they have signed forward Ricardo John.  Per team and league policies, financial terms of the agreement are not disclosed.

Ricardo John has played professionally in Trinidad, including receiving two caps with the men’s Trinidad and Tobago national team.  John also played for the Trinidad and Tobago youth under-20 and youth under-23 national team. In addition, John played professionally for Toronto FC II.  Ricardo John, who is twenty-six years old, has signed a five-year contract with the Harrisburg Heat.

Harrisburg Head Coach and General Manager Pat Healey is very happy about the signing of Ricardo John.  Healey said: “Ricardo is a big strong target that will develop in the indoor game.  He has a wealth of experience earning national team caps for Trinidad and Tobago and has also played for Toronto FC.  I look forward to him having an immediate impact.”

John said “It’s a pleasure joining this ambitious club as a professional indoor player.  I am delighted with the coaching setup and the management, who have shown great professionalism thus far.  I can’t wait to meet up with teammates to achieve one goal, which is winning championships.  To the fans, I am here to get a job done and to make sure we as a team dominate.”
