HEAT RE-SIGN DEFENDER BRAD KERSTETTER

by Harrisburg Heat

The Heat are happy to announce the return of defender Brad Kerstetter. Brad grew up attending Heat games as a kid and after a successful D1 college career, played his entire pro career with the Heat.

“Making the choice to step away from soccer to pursue other goals was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make,” said Kerstetter. “I feel incredibly fortunate and humbled that Carl, Kevin, Pat and the entire Heat family have given me the opportunity to again play the game that I love in a city where it all began for me.”

“Even though I stopped playing, my passion for the game and love for the team has remained with me,” Kerstetter continued. “Watching the championship quality mentality and sheer experience Pat has brought to the team has me very excited for the future of Heat soccer. I look forward to building on the successes the team has seen over the last few years and continuing to bring high quality soccer and excitement to the Farm Show Arena. Let’s go Heat!”

Head Coach Pat Healey said, “I am glad to have Brad back with the Harrisburg Heat. It is always good to add experience and knowledge to the back line. Brad brings passion for the city and team and you can see that in every shift he takes. He was a staple defender for the team for many years and I know he will continue that this upcoming season.”
