HARRISBURG HEAT SIGN SIX PLAYERS
The Harrisburg Heat are pleased to announce that they have signed six players for the upcoming season. They include defender, Robert Williamson, midfielder, Colin O’Keefe, goalkeeper Darian McCauley, and forwards Jared Dillion, Alejandro Chavez and Bill Walleekendeh. Per team and league policies, financial terms of the agreement are not disclosed.
Robert Williamson
Robert Williamson attended and played college soccer at Buffalo State College. He was a two time All-Conference and two-time All-Region player (2017, 2018). As a defender, he served as team captain while scoring 9 goals and added 3 assists. Robert was awarded Hube Coyer Most Outstanding Career for Buffalo State Athletics.
Robert has also played outdoor soccer for FC Buffalo in the NPSL. He was the team captain. In 2021, he was awarded All-Midwest Conference Best XI and All-Midwest Region. He scored 4 goals and added 2 assists.
Colin O'Keefe
O’Keefe attended and played college soccer at Fort Erie Community College and Buffalo State College. While at ECC, he was named 2x 1st All WYNAC and 2nd Team All Region. At Buffalo State he was awarded with another all - conference selection.
Darian McCauley
Darian McCauley is a local product from York, Pennsylvania. He is playing his rookie season for the Harrisburg Heat. In 2020, Darian signed with the Charleston Battery of the USL.
Darian attended and played college soccer at Millersville University. He was All-PSAC First team, Atlantic Regional All-American, and won the Career Achievement Award at Millersville. He is also the record holder for shutouts.
Jared Dillion
Jared attended and played college soccer at Fairleigh Dickinson University. In high school, he was an All-American and Philadelphia Player of the Year.
Alejandro Chavez
Alejandro Chavez is from Chicago, Illinois. He is playing his first season for the Harrisburg Heat and second season in the MASL. Last season, Alejandro signed with the Chicago Mustangs in the MASL 2nd Division. He scored 4 goals and added 4 assists in 6 games for the Mustangs.
Bill Walleekendeh
Walleekendeh is playing his second season for the Harrisburg Heat. Bill didn’t appear in any games for the Heat last season.
Walleekendeh attended and played college soccer at Penn State-Brandywine from 2013 to 2017. Bill scored 109 goals and added 27 assists in his college career. Bill also played outdoor professional soccer in Sweden for Uppsala Kurd FK in the Swedish 3rd Division. While in Sweden, he recorded 6 goals and 3 assists in 8 games
