Experienced Coaching Group Set to Lead 2026 MASL Player Combine This Weekend
The Major Arena Soccer League will welcome a talented group of coaches and soccer professionals to the 2026 MASL Player Combine this weekend, as Nick Perera, Guiliano Oliviero, Corey Adamson, William Banahene, Berto Palmer, Keith Tozer and Mark Litton come together to evaluate and develop the next generation of professional indoor soccer players.
The 2026 MASL Player Combine will take place October 8-10 at Game Time Training Center in Fairfield, Ohio, bringing together selected players from across the country for three days of high-level training, competition and evaluation. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of coaches from throughout the MASL development pipeline, with potential pathways to MASL, MASL2, MASL3 and MASLW rosters.
The coaching group brings a wealth of playing, coaching and league experience to the weekend. Nick Perera is among the most accomplished players in MASL history, ranking first in league history in career assists, while William Banahene ranks among the league's all-time leaders in goalkeeper wins.
Joining them will be Guiliano Oliviero, Lehigh Valley Spirits head coach, Corey Adamson, City Soccer FC head coach, Berto Palmer, Empire Strykers head coach and Mark Litton, goalkeeping coachm each contributing their experience and perspective as the coaching staff evaluates players throughout the weekend.
MASL Commissioner Keith Tozer, the winningest coach in professional indoor soccer history along with winning six championships, will also be part of the coaching and evaluation group, underscoring the league’s commitment to identifying and developing the next generation of talent.
“This combine gives talented men and women an opportunity to showcase their abilities and take the next step toward professional indoor soccer,” said Tozer. “Having some of our top coaches involved allows us to evaluate players while helping them develop through coaching sessions and competitive games. We’re excited to discover the next generation of stars for the MASL and MW.”
The combine will feature training sessions and games on October 8 and 9 before concluding with final combine games on October 10. The weekend is designed to provide players with a competitive environment in which they can demonstrate their technical ability, tactical understanding, athleticism and potential at the professional level.
The 2026 MASL Player Combine is part of the league's broader effort to create meaningful pathways into professional arena soccer and identify talent capable of contributing at every level of the MASL development structure.
