East Coast Defender Signs with Sidekicks

ALLEN, Tex. (October 15th, 2019) The Dallas Sidekicks have signed defender Daniel Lockridge, Jr. for the 2019-2020 Major Arena Soccer League season. This will be Lockridge’s first season with the Sidekicks. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Lockridge was born in Washington, D.C., but went to high school at North Crowley in Texas. He then went to Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. He played club soccer for Solar and then went on to play semi-pro for Weatherford FC.

He has always had the goal of playing professionally, so when the opportunity to play with the Sidekicks presented itself he said yes. “It means a lot to me and my family because it’s something I’ve been working towards for a long time, and they’ve watched the whole journey thus far,” Lockridge said about what it means to sign with the Sidekicks.
