DEREK HUFFMAN SUSPENDED

The Major Arena Soccer League has issued a five-game suspension to the Milwaukee Wave’s Derek Huffman.

Following the Milwaukee at Kansas City Comets game on February 20, Huffman was found to have spat in the direction of another player with malice intent.

Huffman in addition to the five-game suspension to begin immediately will be subject to an undisclosed fine and will be put on probation beginning today.

Due to the nature of the incident and past offenses, Huffman must complete a certified anger management course consisting of a minimum of 16 hours prior to his return to league play.
