Blast Sign Free Agent Midfielder Armando Tello to Three Year Contract

(Baltimore, MD) – The Blast have announced the signing of ex-Seawolves Midfielder Armando Tello to a three year contract. Per team and league policies, no other terms of the agreement were disclosed.

The 10 year veteran midfielder arrives in Baltimore after appearing for the Cedar Rapids Rampage, Florida Tropics and Orlando Seawolves. A native of Chicago, Tello spent time playing with the Puerto Rican national team and started his career with the Chicago Storm reserves before transferring to the Chicago Mustangs. He also spent time with Detroit and Seattle (now Tacoma).

 Coach David Bascome stated “Armando has good qualities as a player and this will add to the system and structure of our team. I am expecting him to adapt to our culture and professional climate we have in the organization and look forward to his growth as a player. When you have players with his high level of passion and love for the game, it is a matter of harnessing it for positive outcomes.”
