MASL BRINGS MEN'S AND WOMEN'S PLAYER COMBINES TO SOCCER-CRAZED CINCINNATI

Following a summer of world-class soccer, the Queen City hosts the next wave of soccer talent — men's and women's pathways alike

Cincinnati has proven it belongs on the global soccer stage — from hosting FIFA Club World Cup matches at TQL Stadium to a sold-out USA-Mexico World Cup qualifier that packed 26,000 fans into the stands on November 12, 2021. Now, the Major Arena Soccer League is bringing the next chapter of the sport's growth to the region with the 2026 MASL Player Combine and the 2026 MASL W Player Combine.

“The World Cup has reminded the entire soccer community that world-class players can come from anywhere. The challenge isn’t finding talent—it’s creating opportunities for talent to be seen,” noted Keith Tozer, MASL commissioner. “That’s exactly what the MASL Men’s and Women’s Player Combines are all about. We are committed to identifying the next generation of stars and giving them a pathway to the professional game. Somewhere out there is the next great MASL player, and we intend to find them.”


2026 MASL Player Combine (Men's)

October 8-10, 2026 | Game Time Training Center, Fairfield, OH (Cincinnati)

The 2026 MASL Player Combine is your opportunity to showcase your skills in front of coaches from across the league's development pipeline. Over three days of high-level training and games, selected players will compete for spots on rosters at all levels — MASL, MASL 2, and MASL 3. Top performers may be invited to join teams for upcoming pre-season training.


2026 MASL W Player Combine (Women's)

October 8-10, 2026 | Game Time Training Center, Fairfield, OH (Cincinnati)

Running alongside the men's combine, the 2026 MASL W Player Combine gives women's players the same opportunity to train, compete, and be evaluated by coaches across the league's development pipeline. The U.S. Women's National Team enters the fall as two-time WMF World Cup champions and will look to claim their 3rd title this fall in Croatia — adding extra weight to a weekend built around growing the women's game. Standout performers at the combine will have a chance to be selected to play in the USA vs. Canada match, with an eye toward a future roster spot in the next national team cycle.

Both combines conclude with a final combine game, giving players one last chance to leave an impression on evaluators. The weekend will also feature a ticketed Women's National Team game — USA vs. Canada.

Who Can Apply

  • Open to players 18 years and older
  • Working Visas are not required for combine participation but may be necessary to sign a contract

How to Apply

  • Registration can be found on the Major Arena Soccer League website
  • A $50 nonrefundable application fee is due at the time of submission
  • All applicants will be vetted by league personnel
  • Accepted players will receive an official invitation with next steps

Registration Fees (for accepted players)

  • Free for players currently rostered on a MASL, MASL 2, MASL 3, or MASL W team
  • $299 for all other accepted players ($50 application fee applies toward this total; hotel and dinner are NOT included — lunch will be provided on combine days)
  • Players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation

  • Final combine games (Men's and Women's) – October 10
  • Women's National Team Game: USA vs. Canada (ticketed event) – October 10
