SEAWOLVES ADD NEW COO, DIRECTOR OF TICKET SALES

ORLANDO, Florida (June 21, 2019) – The Orlando SeaWolves have announced the addition of two new leadership positions in the club's front office. Apopka attorney Donovan Roper will now serve as Chief Operating Officer and veteran minor league sports executive John Navarez has been named Director of Ticket Sales.

Roper, who also serves as the club's legal counsel, is the managing partner of the Apopka law firm Roper & Roper. In his new position as COO with the SeaWolves, he will help lead the charge in growing the club brand by overseeing strategic partnerships and club finances, identifying growth opportunities, and working with community leaders on behalf of the club. He will also serve on the Major Arena Soccer League Board of Directors.

"Adding Donovan to our organization is a major step in the right direction in regards to where we want to take this club," said SeaWolves CEO & General Manager Chris Kokalis. "He has a proven track record in regards to respect from the business community and through his years of supporting the growth of the sport, is well respected in the Central Florida soccer community."

Navarez joins the SeaWolves with seven years of front office experience in minor league sports. The Texas native graduated with a degree in Sports Management from Louisiana Tech University and began his career with the Texas Revolution indoor football team, spending five seasons serving as Assistant General Manager & Director of Ticket Sales. Under his guidance, the average per game attendance for the Revolution increased by 55% each year.

Most recently, John served as General Manager for the Omaha Beef indoor football team. In his first season in Omaha, he more than doubled the average attendance and group sales for the Beef, while growing the online presence by 80%.

In addition to overseeing the SeaWolves season, group, and individual ticket sales, John will also oversee the clubs internship program and game day operations.
