MASL ANNOUNCES DUAL EARL FOREMAN AWARDS

Best Broadcast Teams Named for English and Spanish Broadcasts

KANSAS CITY (May 10, 2017) – The Major Arena Soccer League produces some of the most exciting, fast-paced soccer in the world. It takes a great broadcast to bring the game into the homes of viewers around the world and the league today recognized two of the best. The MASL would like to congratulate the Milwaukee Wave and Soles de Sonora for providing the best English and Spanish broadcasts this season.

The legendary team of Tom Wynn and Art Kramer once again kept fans engaged in Milwaukee Wave broadcasts all season. Kramer’s analysis of the Wave and their opponents helped fans understand the game as if they were on the bench with the coaches. Meanwhile, Wynn’s understanding of the game and knowledge of the players showed a love and passion for arena soccer that fans could directly relate to in every game.

The Western Conference Champion Soles de Sonora excited fans all season long with their dynamic offense and explosive firepower. Fans had no issues watching the games on MASLtv, despite the broadcast being primarily in Spanish. The team of José de Jesús Ruiz, Ernesto Almaraz, Fernando Palafo and Ariadna Ibarra portrayed the excitement of each game and helped fans truly experience what arena soccer is like in Hermosillo.

The Earl Foreman Awards, named for one of the founding fathers of Arena Soccer, are designed to recognize the best performances that happen off-the-field from across the league. The Earl Foreman Award for Best Sales Team and Team Executive of the Year will be announced in the next week.
